  • The Good Shepherd Celebration 2019

The theme for this year’s Good Shepherd Celebration at Worth Abbey on 19 June was ‘We are the Bread of the World’, linking to the message from the readings which remind us that God has chosen us to bring good news to the poor, to do good works for others and transform hearts by being a cheerful giver.

As part of this wonderful celebration (which filled the Abbey), the culmination of much fund-raising in schools led to a cheque for £10,203.83 being presented to Sheila Isaacs, Deacon Duncan Brown and Fr Anthony Chantry (MHM) on behalf of Missio. It was a fantastic day!
