New Buildings Officer of Education Service appointed
A very warm welcome to Mark Brunet who takes up position as part-time Diocesan Buildings Officer on Monday 11th May!
Mark will be leading on LCVAP and all aspects of the Education Service’s work on school buildings. Mark has significant experience of the construction industry and of education, from operational, managerial and strategic perspectives in both cases.
From July 2008 until now, Mark was School Business Manager at Blatchington Mills Secondary School in Hove, and Chair of the Brighton and Hove Schools Business Forum in Brighton and Hove. He is also Senior Clerk to Governors. In addition, Mark has invaluable experience of working for local and regional government.
Mark brings a wealth of vital experience of working in partnership with the local authority on building projects and on exploring possible additional funding streams and we are delighted that he has come to join the Education Service to support diocesan schools!
The Education Service is really looking forward to introducing Mark to diocesan schools and vice versa. Many thanks to the schools which are kindly hosting Mark for some time during his Induction programme. We all hope Mark will very be very happy in his new role as Buildings Officer.
