BOSCO CATHOLIC EDUCATION TRUST (BCET) Appointment of Trust Board Directors
BOSCO CATHOLIC EDUCATION TRUST (BCET)
Appointment of Trust Board Directors
The Diocese of Arundel and Brighton is looking for committed, strategic and skilled practising Catholics to join the Trust Board of the soon-to-be formed Bosco Catholic Education Trust (BCET).
BCET consists of Catholic schools (Primary and Secondary) from within the Arundel and Brighton deaneries of Worthing and Cathedral. BCET will be a multi-academy trust opening in April 2017.
The Trust Board consists of 7 voluntary directors who will meet periodically to oversee the strategic direction of the Multi-Academy Trust. Prior experience of working as a governor within a Catholic school is preferable but not essential. More relevant is the skill set required to undertake the role of a director in one of the following three areas:
- Finance (preferably with an expertise in company accounts)
- Buildings & Premises
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking team of directors working in partnership with the Diocese to influence the strategic future of Catholic schools along the south coast. Application is via letter and completion of a skills matrix, available on request.
For more information please contact either the Interim Chief Executive Officer of BCET, David Carter, on firstname.lastname@example.org 01243 558205 or Marie Ryan, Director of the Diocesan Education Service on email@example.com 01293 511130.
Closing date for applications: Friday 2 December 2016
