ATCRE Resources

UPDATED 24th April 2020

Easter Special

We hope that ATCRE has been a source of help and inspiration over the last few difficult weeks. We have tried our best to share things that might be of use.

We also hope that we have in some way provided some opportunities for prayer and reflection for you too. As an Exec we have discussed about how we can best offer support and we will continue to do what we can.

After Easter, we will share some more ideas - so please keep emailing suggestions to There is also discussion on two Facebook groups Catholic RE (for secondary) and Primary Catholic RE, and please tag @atcre_ew on Twitter so we can retweet - we have been sharing quite a lot of bits on Twitter, so if you haven't joined, now may be the time!

This last email before the Easter holidays focuses just on Holy Week and Easter.

We hope you have a happy, holy and healthy Easter. It will be a very strange one not in the Church. In the words of Cardinal Nichols, "As our churches remain closed, let us open our hearts even wider."

The Gospel best comes alive when the story of Jesus resonates deeply within our heart and our personal experience. Church at Home

  • Our Church is not just a building,  now that we can’t meet on Sundays we stand together in new ways, because we are the Church. Here are some resources that may help children, teenagers and young adults. Please share freely amongst friends, family and parish communities. This is one more way for us to still be together, as Church.

ATCRE has not checked all these resources individually.
They have been sent to us in good faith to share.
It is for you to evaluate and decide upon their suitability for your students.

Read up about our first conference in the current edition of Networking

Please find the copy that arrives in your school to read the many interesting articles.
