    Ofqual is currently consulting on proposed changes to the assessment of GCSE, AS and A levels in 2021. The proposals are in response to disruption to education caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

    The closing date for the consultation is 16 July 2020.

  • Chatsmore to be renamed from September

    Chatsmore Catholic High School in Worthing is to be renamed. From 1 September 2020, it will become St Oscar Romero Catholic School. As a Catholic School, it is founded on Gospel values and provides a nurturing environment of love, respect and discipline, where every individual is highly valued and the care and concern for others is central to the mission.

    St Oscar Romero is an inspirational Christian Martyr. He was a true witness to Jesus’s teaching with a real concern for the poor. On 23 March, 1980, he was shot by a gun man whilst celebrating Mass.
