  • Chatsmore now St Oscar Romero Catholic School

    On 1 September 2020, Chatsmore Catholic High School in Worthing was renamed St Oscar Romero Catholic School. As a Catholic School, it is founded on Gospel values and provides a nurturing environment of love, respect and discipline, where every individual is highly valued and the care and concern for others is central to the mission.

    St Oscar Romero is an inspirational Christian Martyr. He was a true witness to Jesus’s teaching with a real concern for the poor. On 23 March, 1980, he was shot by a gun man whilst celebrating Mass.

  • Important: Contacting the Education Service

    Due to the COVID19 situation, the Education Service team has been working from home. From Monday 14 September, the team will be working a 'coordinated mixed economy' with some days in the office and some days at home. The office will be staffed every day.
